God’s Timing and Your Waiting

Devotional Reading

Estimated Time: 3–4 minutes

Waiting is one of the hardest parts of faith. Waiting for healing. Waiting for clarity. Waiting for change. It can feel like silence or even abandonment.

But Isaiah 40:31 promises:
“But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength.”

God’s timing often doesn’t match our urgency—but it does match His wisdom. In the waiting, He isn’t punishing or withholding. He’s preparing. He’s present. And He’s working in ways we can’t yet see.

Waiting isn’t wasted when it’s placed in God’s hands.

Reflection Prompt

What are you waiting on right now? How might God be using the wait to strengthen your faith?

Guided Prayer: In a Season of Waiting

Estimated Time: 2 minutes

God, I don’t understand Your timing. I want answers now. I want movement. I want healing.

But I also want to trust You. Remind me that You are never late, even when I feel delayed. Teach me patience, and give me glimpses of Your presence while I wait.

Renew my strength. Refresh my hope. Let me wait with faith. Amen.
